Voyo is about to launch something of an exciting tablet in mid-December by the name of Voyo i8, and I’m happy to see that it’s the first new 9.7-inch Android tablet in a long time:
It’s powered by MediaTek’s deca-core Helio X27 MT6797X processor, which achieves Geekbench single-core scores of over 1800, the equivalent of an Intel Celeron N4100 processor. So that makes this tablet snappy for and Android tablet. And very very snappy for a $149 tablet for those who order it first.
Main specs includes 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a resolution of 2048 x 1536.
It also has dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE built in too. Other important specs includes a micro-USB 2.0 port, a 6000 mAh battery, a 3MP front camer and 8MP rear camera, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
When it comes to the dimensions of the Voio i8, it is 8.5mm thick and weighs 485 grams. The plastic lid on the back of the tablet is there to hide away the dual-SIM and micro-SD card slots.
