Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000 Announced
The Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000 series was also quietly announced yesterday, along with the announcement of the Dell Venue 8 Pro 5000 series. The new 10.1-inch Windows 10 tablet Dell Venue 10 Pro will be launched in the middle of November in the US, starting at a price of $429 says Kirk Schell of Dell.
Before then we'll be seeing more of it, and this Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet had already had its specs leaked too, but at least the specs are confirmed now.
And those specs are a 10.1-inch screen with Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution, Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM (1600 MHz), options of either 64GB or 128GB eMMC storage with microSD card support up to 128GB, a 2MP front camera and a 8MP rear camera, dual speakers and mics for better pickup when talking to Cortana, USB type C and USB type A ports, a micro-HDMI port, dual-antenna and dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, a 32 WHr battery, ecompass, accelerometer, gyroscope, optional NFC, optional 4G LTE which also brings GPS to the table, and of course a keyboard.
The new Dell Venue 10 Pro 5000 tablet weighs 662 grams, while the backlit keyboard weighs 606 grams. It replaces the Dell Venue 10 Pro 5055 and offers a great deal of improvement over its predecessor as we can see.
