Dell Announce The 5000-Series Dell Latitude 5290 For The 2018 Model Year

Dell have taken to CES in Las Vegas to announce their latest 5000-series Dell Latitude 5290 Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet that starts at $899.

Dell Latitude 5290 is a successor to the Dell Latitude 5285, and it now has options of processors ranging the 7th gen Intel Core i3-7130U for $899, to the 8th gen. Intel Core i7-8650U processor for $1779, but it’s not entirely new though, and can be bought already.

It has a 12.3-inch screen with Full HD 1920 x 1280 resolution and 340 nits brightness, options of 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 128GB of storage as standard, with options of SSD storage upgrade up to 1TB.

The keyboard is optional and so is the digitizer pen. But it has 5MP and 8MP front and rear cameras, and optional IR camera.

Another option is 4G LTE, as well as optional Thunderbolt 3 for the USB C port. But also has a traditional USB 3.1 A port.

The market is more the business market than the consumer market though, hence the many options in configuration.
