Chinese tablet brand Chuwi is now having a premiere on the Chuwi HiPad Air on Aliexpress, where this tablet is enjoying a launch sale for $159, or $189 with the keyboard.
The Chuwi HiPad Air is released in the 10.3-inch Android 11 segment as an affordable mid-range tablet with decent specs.
By decent specs in this price range I mean the popular octa-core Unisoc Tiger T618 processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

The 10.3-inch screen has relatively narrow bezels and a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, joined by 1W stereo speakers, and 5MP front and rear cameras with facial recognition on the front and LED on the back.
Unlike a lot of other tablets from Chuwi, this is not a 4G tablet. It’s just straight up dual-band Wi-Fi 5, with Bluetooth 5.0, a USB C port, and a microSD card slot.
The only complaint so far would be on the 7000 mAh battery with an 8 hour battery life, which is 2 hours less than what we would typically get from a Samsung tablet of this size. The charger is a 5V/2A USB C charger.
As for the optional keyboard cover, this is a completely flat keyboard with no trackpad. Chuwi HiPad Air is just 7.2mm thick, and weighs 450 gram, so really, the only shortcoming here is basically a battery life that’s on the wrong side of 10 hours for this budget friendly tablet computer.
