Chuwi did announce the Chuwi Hi9 ahead of Christmas, a new 8.4-inch tablet with good specs, but they didn’t announce the larger 10.1-inch Chuwi Hi9 Air back then. But the Chuwi Hi9 Air is a coming Android 7.0 tablet with most of the same main specs, and one that will probably be unveiled at CES next week.
Chuwi Hi9 Air specs includes a 10.1-inch screen with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, while power comes from a 1.9 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8173 processor with PowerVR GX6250, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB storage.
Full Wi-Fi with dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac cover is there too, as is Bluetooth 4.0, a micro-USB port, 2MP front and 5MP rear cameras, stereo speakers, and a 8000 mAh battery. The Chuwi Hi9 Air battery lif is rated to 5 hours, but I’m wondering if that’s wrongful listing, because these proessors tend to get better battery life out it this sort of battery. We should see soon if those figures will be adusted or not.
The tablet is thin at 8mm, with a weight of 550 grams, the same weight as the Teclast Master T10.
