11-Inch Android Tablet Blackview Tab 16 Shipping In Late March

Blackview is busy launching more and more tablets, and in late March it will launch the 11-inch Blackview Tab 16 on AliExpress for $189.

The specs are very mixed. To begin with, it’s powered by a Unisoc T616 processor, with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and as much as 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage as standard. So to a lot of people, that will be very good value.

It ships with Android 12 and Blackview’s own Doke OS_P 3.0 user interface which offers a lot of extra features, but no word on any updates for it later one. There’s also Widevie L1 support on board. It also has dual-SIM 4G LTE built in as well as navigation sensors.

The 11-inch screen has a Full HD screen with a display resolution of 2000 x 1200, which is one of the specs that’s a deal breaker for some people. The 7680 mAh battery could have been larger too, as the 4.5 hours battery life from HD videos is lackluster despite the 18W fast charge support.

Other than that, it has quad speakers, a 8MP front camera from Samsung with facial recognition, a 13MP rear camera from Sony, BT 5.0, and Wi-Fi 5.

Color options are Meteorite Gray, Twilight Blue, and Mint Green, with free folio covers in matching colors included. A stylus pen is included too, but Blackview hasn’t specified which one.

The weight is 533 grams and the is thickness 7.95mm, both of which are pretty decent stats for an 11-inch tablet.
