Today’s best offer by far is the Dell Venue 8 Pro, the recently released 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, which has been cut from $299 to $229.
This tablet has been among the best selling tablets since it was released on November 1. So this is a fairly new tablet. 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablets are high in demand but low in supply, and at the moment the only competitor to the Dell Venue 8 Pro, is Lenovo Miix 2.
The 32GB version of Dell Venue 8 Pro comes with the full version of Windows 8.1, it is powered by a quad-core 1.8GHz (Atom Z3740D) Intel Bay Trail processor and has 2GB of DDR3 RAM. The 8-inch IPS display has a 10-point touch screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution. It has a 1.2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera. It weighs 395 grams and have an average battery life of 10 hours.
