Asus Transformer Mini T102HA is a high-end version of the otherwise very similar Asus Transformer Book T101HA.
The highlights, or what sets the Asus T102HA apart from the Asus T101HA, includes a fingerprint reader on the back of the tablet, 128GB of storage, an extremely low weight at just 790 grams with the magnesium-aluminum alloy tablet and the keyboard combined (290 grams less than T101HA), a USB 3.0 port, a built-in kickstand, and Quick Launch gesture. Asus T102HA also has other color combinations than the Asus T101HA.
Specifications for Asus Transformer Mini T102HA makes it a very likable tablet, and one of the tablets most similar in function to the Surface 3.
Asus Transformer Mini T102HA specs include a 10.1-inch detachable screen with a display resolution of 1280 x 800, giving it a 16:10 screen ratio. It's powered by the latest quad-core 1.44 GHz – 1.92 GHz Intel Atom “Cherry Trail” x5-Z8350 processor, with 4GB of RAM (SDRAM), and 128GB of storage, with microSD card support for up to another 128GB of storage.
The Wi-Fi has support for the fastest ac Wi-Fi in addition to the regular dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n bands, as well as Bluetooth 4.1.
Asus Transformer Mini has a 2MP front camera, and the stereo speakers are 1.5 watt speakers with Asus Sonicmaster Technology. The array microphone supports Cortana in Windows 10.
The Asus Transformer Mini T102HA battery life is a good 11 hours long, so no complaints there. Ports and slots include a full-size USB 3.0 port, a micro-USB port, and a micro-HDMI port, in addition to the microSD card slot and the 3.5 mm audio combo jack.
Asus Transformer Mini T102HA is 8.2 mm thick, with a total weight of just under 790 grams for the tablet and keyboard put together, and just 530 grams for the tablet alone. I don't know if Asus knows this, but that actually makes the Asus Mini the lightest 10.1-inch Windows 10 tablet in production right now.
The fingerprint reader or sensor is located on the back of the tablet, in the circle on the top middle with a silver ring around it, and it will automatically scan upon touch of it, and can be used to support security features like Windows Hello and other security features or apps.
This tablet's built-in kickstand bends to a 170 degree angle, so that should cover all uses it looks like. The detachable keyboard made of fiberglass design has a 1.5 mm key travel, and a pen holder on the right side, for the Asus digitizer that this tablet also supports.
The keyboards comes in the colors quartz grey, amber, mint green, and icicle gold, but the first Asus Transformer Mini to go on sale is the quartz grey edition.
