Asus have officially unveiled the 4th generation 10.1-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet with the Asus Transformer Book T101HA. This tablet replaces the Asus Transformer Book T100HA, and will become available in October according to Asus: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JW9BSW10K/
Before then, the somewhat similar but more advanced Asus Transformer Mini T102HA will be released too.
(HOT TIP: The Asus Transformer Mini T102HA is among the best Black Friday Tablet Deals of 2016, starting November 23.)
Asus Transformer Book T101HA is powered by the quad-core Intel Atom “Cherry Trail” processor x5-Z8350 and Intel HD Graphics GPU, has options of 2GB or 4GB of RAM, with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage options as well as 128GB microSD card support, and a 10.1-inch screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 800, giving this tablet a screen ratio of 16:10.
This tablet has a 2MP front camera, two 1.5 watt stereo speakers, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1. Windows options are Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.
Asus says the Asus Transformer Book T101HA battery life is 11 hours long. As for ports the Asus T101HA has both a full-size USB port as well as a micro-USB port, not to mention a micro-HDMI port.
Asus Transformer Book T101HA is 9 mm thick and weighs 580 grams, and as we can see, this tablet doesn’t just come in black (glacier grey / quartz grey), but in pink (rose gold) and green (mint green) as well.
The predecessor Asus Transformer Book T100HA with 4GB of RAM and otherwise mostly similar specs, have been costing around $299 ever since launch, so until Asus launches the T101HA, I assume that will be the price of the T101HA too.
