Just as the new second generation Asus Transformer Book T100 had been released with the new Intel Atom Z3775 processor and the new color options of white and red, I’ve also discovered that a Asus Transformer Book T100TAL 4G LTE version will be released soon, starting on August 7.
The release have been confirmed by a few European retailers, so hopefully the US release should not be too far behind. It could even be launched at the same time in the US too, so let’s keep out fingers crossed.
The price for the 4G LTE version is about €100 more than the standard Wi-Fi version, so the price difference should be about $100 in the US as well, although there is much more freedom of choice in terms of unlocked mobile devices in Europe, so we’ll have to wait and see which wireless carriers in the US will pick it up first.
The specs for the LTE model of Asus Transformer Book T100 otherwise appear to be identical to the new Asus Transformer Book T100, which means 32GB to 500GB RAM (even for the LTE version), Windows 8.1 / Pro, a 10.1-inch display, 2GB RAM, USB 3.0, Office, long battery life, and of course the included keyboard.
Tabletmonkeys will update once more is know about the US release of the 4G LTE version of Asus Transformer Book T100.
