Asus ROG Strix Scar III Release May 17th

The strategy from Asus this year is to go all in on gaming, so we can expect a steady stream of very powerful Windows laptops from Asus in 2019, such as the newest Asus ROG Strix Scar III that will release on May 17th: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-i7-9750H-Windows-G531GW

And it's not just the CPU and GPU that's speedy either. Even the display can brag of a very impressive 240 Hz refresh rate. And despite its gaming credentials, it doesn't look solely like a gaming laptop, so others in need of a powerful Windows laptop might take to liking it too, especially since it features the newest manual fan adjustments, ranging from silent, to balanced, to turbo mode.

Asus also believes the fans will keep the computer in a state of newness longer, as the cooling fans have been redesigned to act as self-cleaning fans that are meant to not build up dust within the fan and cooling unit.

Build-up of dust year over year is a common problem in laptops with cooling fans, something you may have seen yourself if you've ever taken apart an old laptop. And trying to vacuum clean the fans from the outside might offset the fans and create other new problems at best, and vacuuming the unit still wouldn't be enough to get a laptop back in original shape anyway.

So I'm looking forward to see if these new cooling fans from Asus will live up to their promise over the years.

Asus ROG Strix Scar III mains specs on this particular model includes the 15.6-inch screen with the Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution 240 Hz 100& sRGB display, with computing power from the Intel Core i7-9750H processor, the Nvidia GeForece RTX 2070 GPU, 16GB (2666 MHz) SDDDR4 RAM, and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.

It evens features 4 watt stereo speakers, the “Keystone” that will personalize the laptop according to your preferences, and a touchpad like no other. No wonder why this powerful Windows 10 laptop appeals to more than just gamers.
