The new Asus PadFone S is said to be brought to the US at the end of August, so now either Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile might have it on offer before September.
The Asus PadFone S have interesting specifications too. The Pad is a 9-inch Android tablet while the Fone is a 5-inch 4G LTE Android smartphone with a 13MP camera.
These Android 4.4 KitKat mobile devices have a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1200, NFC support, Qi wireless charging, and IPX2 rating, which means that it can withstand a tiny bit of rain and moisture, and that the phone shall handle drops from 1.5 meters and still work.
Like all Android tablets from Asus these days, Asus have also installed the Asus ZenUI skin on top of the OS, which adds a new set of features in addition to those that comes with Android 4.4.
Color options for the Asus PadFone S are black and white, and the price is estimated to $699, but in the US these 4G LTE devices will come with various subsidies from the carriers as well, so the prices will vary.
