Asus PadFone Mini Leaked In Benchmark Test

Have you been looking for a 7-inch tablet computer with a 4-inch smartphone on its back but couldn’t find one? Well, you might be in luck now that Asus seems just a few short months away from launching such a device, under the name of Asus PadFone Mini.

(UPDATED: This tablet and smartphone combo could potentially be unveiled on December 11th 2013.)

You may have seen the Asus PadFone line previously but failed to grasp the point of it. There have been four such 2-in-1 (literally) PadFone devices so far. They all share the same distinctive feature, that they are tablets with a detachable smartphone that slots into the back of it, as seen in the images further down.

The upcoming Asus PadFone Mini ‘T00C’ have now been spotted in a benchmark test that would indicate a launch somewhere between November 2013 and January 2014.

The Asus PadFone Mini has been confirmed by Asus, but have not been officially unveiled yet. But what the benchmark test shows is at least some specs for the smartphone. Such as a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and the Adreno 305 graphics processor. It is running on Android 4.3. As for the 7-inch tablet, we are still awaiting the specs.

While they are all interesting tablets, it does come at a price. $800 and upwards to be precise. So let’s hope the PadFone Mini will carry a mini price as well.
