Archos have announced four new computers, two of them tablets, for the education sector in France, taking part in the “Grand Digital for Schools Project” that aims to equip 50 000 students in France with tablets and computers by the end of this year, but with an increase to over 1 million by 2016.
The tablets are education exclusive, and come in 9-inch and 10.1-inch variants, with a choice of Windows 8.1 Pro or Android. The laptop computers meanwhile consists of a 14-inch Windows 8.1 Pro notebook, and a 11.6-inch Chromebook.
Excluding taxes, the price of these computer devices ranges from €200 to €300.
Archos announcement of education exclusive tablet computers came just three days after Archos announced the availability of their latest 10.1-inch Full HD Android tablet Oxygen 101, in Europe.
