Alldocube iPlay 40 5G Tablet Launched For $299

Alldocube has as much as three different models of their iPlay 40 tablets on the market already. But a fourth model has no joined the family, as Alldocube is also launching a 5G cellular version of these tablets too.

This model is simply called Alldocube iPlay 40 5G, and it has its premiere on Aliexpress for $299.

That’s cheap for a 5G tablet, but then again it’s only a Full HD tablet at 10.4 inches with a 2000 x 1200 resolution display.

The specs are an octa-core 2.0 GHz MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor with a Mali G57 MC3 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 128GB of UFS storage with support for an additional 2TB of microSD cards.

This dual-SIM tablet covers the 5G bands N1/N3/N28/N41/N77/N78/N79, and also features dual-band Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.1, and a USB C port for connectivity.

The rear camera is bumped up to 13MP with LED flash, while the front camera is a 5MP camera.

Other than that it has stereo speakers with BOX, navigation sensors, a gyro, hall, and g-sensor, and a 6000 mAh battery which on a 5G tablet can run out pretty fast of course. But fortunately it supports fast charge at 18W through the USB port.

5G doesn’t add more than a gram or three, so the weight is still just 475 grams, with a thickness of 8.2mm. And upon launch, it ships with Android 11 onboard.
