Alldocube iPlay 10 Pro – A New Mid-Range 10.1-Inch Android 9.0 Tablet

Alldocube is launching another 10.1-inch tablet in July that they have called the Alldocube iPlay 10 Pro. It’s completely mid-range for being produced in the middle of 2019:

Being sold for just $160, and with a good build, the tablet is mid-range but with a strange mix of specs.

With Android 9.0 Pie, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 10.1-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, those qualities alone offers a great deal of tablet for $160. But the quad-core MediaTek MT8163 processor seems underpowered relative to the 3GB of RAM.

The battery size is also just 6600 mAh, and Alldocube estimates the battery life to 6 hours. Though I actually think Alldocube is modest here considering the low power processor. But these are nevertheless the two specs that drags it down.

Oher specs includes 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo speakers, a 2MP front camera, and a 5MP rear camera, a micro-USB port, a micro-HDMI port, and a metal body apart from the plastic top cover that hides the microSD card slot.

In terms of dimensions, it’s 8.9mm thick and weighs 510 grams. So a mid-range tablet in every way, but at least it’s also priced accordingly.
