The first computers among a slew of others that were presented at CES 2022 two weeks ago, are just starting to launch, starting with two Acer Chromebooks.
The first one is the cheap Acer Chromebook 314 2022 model, which is a 14-inch Chromebook with a HD display at 1366 x 768, powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT8183C processor with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB storage.
A 12 hour battery life rating would be considered the highlight of this laptop.
The second one is the more premium laptop Acer Chromebook Spin 314 2022 model, which is also a 14-inch laptop, but it’s designed as a revolving convertible with a 1920 x 1080 resolution Full HD touch display with stylus support, and it’s powered by an Intel Pentium “Silver” N6000 processor, with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB storage.
In addition to that, it also has DTS audio, Wi-Fi 6, and features Acer’s new OceanGlass touchpad/trackpad which is made with recycled materials.
It will launch on January 20 for $479.
