New Acer Iconia Talk S (A1-734) 7-Inch Android 6.0 Phablet

Acer officially unveiled the Acer Iconia Talk S (A1-734) today at IFA in Berlin, 3 weeks after this 4G 7-inch phablet/tablet first started appearing on its websites. Acer says that the new Acer Iconia Talk S (A1-734) will launch in EMEA countries in September for €169.

In essence, the Acer Iconia Talk S is a budget phablet with mixed specifications that replaces last year’s Acer Iconia Talk S (A1-724).

The 7-inch screen has a 1280 x 720 resolution display, runs Android 6.0, is powered by the 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735 processor, has 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage with support for microSD cards up to 128GB.

As a phone calling tablet/phablet it has 4G support, in addition to the 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Acer Iconia Talk S battery life is 9 hours long from the 3940 mAh battery. The tablet is 9.4 mm thick with a weight of 260 grams.

The predecessor wasn’t launched in the US, and it doesn’t look like this one will be launched here either.
