Acer Iconia Tab P10 Unveiling January 2023

When Acer used to launch several Windows and Android tablets each year, they were usually not afraid of doing something new. Which made many of their tablets interesting. The last couple of years Acer have mostly focused on rugged tablets and tablets for the education and enterprise market: https://www.amazon.com/P10-11-K5P5-MediaTek-MT8183C

But now we’re gradually seeing Acer make a gradual comeback with tablets for the main consumer market again. And in January 2023, they will unveil a brand new set of tablets, the Acer Iconia Tab P10 and P11.

The Acer Iconia Tab P10 is a 10.4-inch Android 12 tablet with a regular 2000 x 1200 resolution display, like the majority of the tablets in the 10-inch segment.

It’s powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 500 chipset, with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage.

So despite the 6000 mAh capacity battery, the chipset should be able to squeeze a 10.5 hour battery life out of it.

Other specs includes stereo speakers, a 5MP front camera, a 8MP rear camera, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, and a USB C port.

So no cutting edge performance, but at least it’s very light at just 440 grams, and the thickness of 7.8mm is also good.

And for the first time in a long while, Acer has modernized the outer design of the tablet chassis too, making it more square like most other brands.
