Acer Aspire Switch E 10 To Replace Acer Aspire Switch 10 E For 2016-2017

A new Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet by the name of Acer Aspire Switch E 10 has leaked via Red Dot design awards, indicating that this new Windows 10 tablet will replace the similarly sounding Acer Aspire Switch 10 E.

Not much is known about the tablet yet but some details have leaked, such as the use of sandblasted anodized aluminum to wrap the tablet with, which will make it feel more upscale, as well as make it better to hold for long.

A new lock mechanism have been developed for this tablet too, now called Acer Snap Hinge 2.

The predecessor Acer Aspire Switch 10 E is currently one of the cheapest 10.1-inch Windows 10 tablets with keyboard available, but it is in need of an upgrade to keep up with its competitors, like the Asus Transformer Book T100HA.

So we should see a new processor upgrade at least, to something like a new more powerful Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor.

Acer will hold a press show on April 21 in New York, so the main details about this tablet will be out then.
