According to Mark Gurman and Debby Wu at Bloomberg, Apple is planning to introduce a laser scanning 3D camera for the next iPad Pros, which is said to be launched in 2020 and not in 2019.
These new long range 3D sensors that will capture 3D models better and can be used for augmented reality, may even come from none other than Sony. It may also bring with it a third camera of some sort.
As for other iPad related news, the report just repeats what have already been said before, that the iPad 9.7 may disappear in favor of a larger 10-inch iPad in the same entry level price category, and that it will still feature a Lightning port, not a USB port.
And like we have heard from many other sources before, it goes on to say that the new iPad mini is in the works.
