2021 Models Of Acer Swift 3 Taking Orders

The new 2021 line of Acer Swift 3 laptops unveiled by Acer earlier this year, are taking orders with some launching in two weeks, and others not launching before July.

The 4.8 GHz Intel Core i7-11370H powered Acer Swift 3 with a 16.1-inch screen will be one of the last ones out, with an expected release on July 18.

It has a 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, Iris Xe Graphics, 512GB of SSD storage, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution display.

Acer thinks of it as a light laptop, but at 1.7kg, it is definitely heavier than the lightweight laptops Samsung has come up with recently

The smaller 14-inch Acer Swift 3 meanwhile is launching on May 23.

It features a 4.7 GHz Intel Core i7-1165G7 instead, though still with the Intel Iris Xe Graphics, as well as 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and a 16 hour battery life rating.

With a 14-inch screen still featuring 1920 x 1080 resolution, it is also lighter, at 1.2kg. Among design features, are the additional air inlet from the keyboard, which Acer says can deliver 10% more airflow, which will help cool it down with less fan noise. At least as long as you don’t let the keyboard clog up with dust and sand.
