Chuwi started teasing their upcoming Android flagship tablet Chuwi HiPad Pro two weeks ago, but they had deliberately set the pre-launch pretend price to $9999 just to get people guessing what it would launch for. Well, we still don’t know what it will be launched for, but now Chuwi has announced a premiere for the HiPad Pro on August 3 through Aliexpress.com.
It looks like this tablet might enjoy a two day $299 launch sale before the price goes up to normal.
Chuwi HiPad Pro is an Android 11 tablet with a 10.8-inch 2k display with stylus support, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
Some of the other specs are good too, such as the quad 1 watt speakers, the 7000 mAh battery with QC 3.0 charging support, the 5MP punch hole front camera and 8MP rear camera, and the optional keyboard cover.
It’s also built like a pro tablet, with a weight of 480 grams and thickness of 6.9mm.
Other than that, the Chuwi HiPad Pro is equipped with Wi-Fi 5, BT 4.0, 4G LTE for select regions, dual mics, and a USB C port.
Accessories are the keyboard cover and the 4096 pressure levels sensitive Chuwi H7 digitizer pen. We’ll get back to this tablet once we know more about the price and other details. But it’s fair to say that this is the most interesting Android tablet from Chuwi ever.
