Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro Unveiled Today With 8th Gen. Intel Core Processor

Xiaomi unveiled the brand new new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro with options of the 8th gen. Intel Core processors i5 (8250U) and i7 (9550U) from $1089 to $1399 for those who wants 16GB of RAM with that powerful Intel Core i7 processor. These 15.6-inch Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro international editions are taking pre-orders ahead of released just under 4 weeks from now, on October 7th.

The launch of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro comes 14 months after the launch of the first Xiaomi notebook on July 27 last year, which were smaller 12.5 and 13.3 inch notebooks. But this is Xiaomi’s first 15.6-inch laptop, with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 display resolution.

The brand new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro ticks a lot of the right boxes for a really good Windows 10 laptop. It has small bezels, precision touchpad and an integrated fingerprint reader in the touchpad, dual cooling systems, backlit keyboard, 2x USB C port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, a 3-in-1 SD memory card slot, a full-size HDMI port, dual-antenna dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, 50% quick charge in 35 minutes, Dolby Atmos audio technolgy with Harman Infinity speakers, and Gorilla Glass 3.

As for main hardware, there are 3 models. One i5 model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and two i7 models with options of 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM (2400 MHz). All 3 models have Nvidia GeForce MX150 grphics processor with its own 2GB DDR5 RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage.

Other new devices launched by Xiaomi today were the new high-end Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2 smartphones.
