Samsung Galaxy Tab E NOOK 9.6 Launched In The US

Barnes & Noble brought the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 to the US today by launching the the Samsung Galaxy Tab E NOOK 9.6. The price for the newest NOOK is $249, and Barnes & Noble accept trade-in of some old tablets starting from todays release up until November 7.

Like the other new NOOK tablets from Barnes & Noble the last two years, this is a regular Samsung tablet through and through, where nothing is removed, and only the NOOK apps are added by Barnes & Noble to enable the NOOK experience with the services and features that entails.

So underneath we find a regular Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6-inch, a new form factor among the established brands this year. It has HD resolution of 1280 x 800, Android 5.1 Lollipop, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, has 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage with 128GB microSD card support, a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera, stereo speakers, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, and a 12 hour battery life.

Some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E NOOK 9.6 include parental control, dual-window multitasking, and even Microsoft Office for Android which includes free cloud storage from Microsoft.
