Pictures Of Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 Out Ahead Of Unveiling

Pictures of the rugged Android tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 are now out ahead of the unveiling, as WinFuture have got hold of some images of this new tablet from Samsung.

As we can see, the design is by and large the same as before, but Samsung have toned down the visual impression of ruggedness in the design, making it look and feel more like a normal tablet, at least with the thinnest of the covers for it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is the successor to the 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Active that was launched back in 2015.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 (SM-T390 Wi-Fi and SM-T395 4G LTE) have been leaking for a long time and have gone through all the official verification processes already, so it is ready to hit the market any day now.

It is a rugged tablet both for consumers and for enterprises, with Android 7.1, an 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, powered by the octa-core 1.5 GHz Samsung Exynos 7870 processor and Mali-T830 GPU, with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.

Additional Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 specs are a 5MP front camera, and a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, swappable battery, the S Pen integrated into the rugged tablet cover, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB C port.

Samsung have prepared the support pages for it in several countries already, particularly in the Nordic countries, where the PDF user manual for it can be downloaded already.
