New Unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 (SM-T378) Wi-Fi Certified

A new additional and also unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 with the model number SM-T378 has been Wi-Fi certified, today's filings reveal.

The Wi-Fi edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 (SM-T375) was launched 12 months ago in Februry 2016, and since then, cellular network providers have adopted 4G LTE versions of this tablet as well, such as AT&T with a SM-T377 model. But it's unknown if the new SM-T378 will feature a new processor, or simply be sold to additional network providers.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 (SM-T375) Wi-Fi was launched with Android 5.1, an 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor.

The new models that were Wi-Fi approved were the SM-T378S, SM-T378L, and SM-T378K models, but all of them running the SM-T375 firmware.
