LG G Pad 2 8.3 FCC Approved (LG-V930)

What looks like the unofficial new 8.3-inch Android 5.1 tablet LG G Pad 2 8.3 had its filings published at FCC today, where we got the first official specifications for this new tablet.

It’s only listed with the model number and not the final name, but the model number comes in the three different versions, which are LG-V930, LGV930, and V930. The model name indicates that it is a tablet, though this was also stated by the FCC documents, while the 30 in the model number could indicate the 8.3-inch display if we are to follow the logic of previous model names of LG tablets.

This tablet have been certified with cellular support, but we’ll cross our fingers for this tablet being an upgraded LG G Pad 2 8.3, and not just another LG G Pad 8.3 built for Verizon or any of the other wireless carriers.

Cellular support are for UMTS 850/1900, and for 4G LTE bands 2,4,5,7, and 12, and like on the first generation model this tablet also has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac bands.

The other main specs for the LG G Pad 2 8.3 were purportedly leaked just a few days ago, and looked like a very probable upgrade of the first generation LG G Pad 8.3.
