Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus Is Born – New FHD 8-Inch Android 7.0 Tablet w/ 4GB RAM, Fingerprint Reader

After 9 months of leaks, Lenovo finally gave birth to a new 8-inch FHD tablet today, with the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus being unveiled at MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a promising 8-inch Android 7.0 tablet which could become one of Lenovo’s most popular 8-inch Android tablets in years.

It has a fingerprint reader, a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution display with 390 nits brightness, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, has options of 3GB and 4GB of RAM, optional 4G LTE, a glass back cover and aluminum frame, 16GB and 64GB storage options, a 5MP front camera and a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and stereo front-facing Dolby Atmos speakers.

It has a microSD card slot with support for memory cards up to 128GB, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, g-sensor, hall sensor, GPS, GLOANASS, light sensor, and even dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2.

The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus battery life is 8+ hours says Lenovo, which comes from a Li-ion battery rated at 4850 mAh, with a 3 – 3.5 hours charging time, and QC 3.0 Fast Charge support.

Color options are black or white, with a weight of 300 grams, and a thickness of 7 mm. The design is clever with the edges split in two, making the side speakers face forwards.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus will be released globally in May, and the starting price have been set to €269 in the EU so far.
