Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 510 was officially unveiled at the IFA trade show in Berlin in September and is built to be a sort of affordable Windows 10 tablet in the category of powerful 12-inch tablets with the 6th gen. Intel Core i3, i5, i7 Skylake processor choices.
In brief, the Lenovo Miix 510 has a 12.2-inch screen with a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution display, it has 4GB to 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, a 2MP front camera, and a 5MP rear camera, Dolby stereo speakers, and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi in addition to Bluetooth 4.0.
Miix 510 is meant to be versatile so it has active support for a Windows Ink stylus called Lenovo Active Pen, with full 2048 pressure levels of sensitivity. This Windows tablet also has options of either plain or backlit keyboards.
The Lenovo Miix 510 battery life is estimated to 7.5 hours long. It has a micro-HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port, weighs 880 grams and is 9.9 mm thick.
So it is on the heavy side compared to similar 12-inch Windows 10 tablets from Acer, Asus, and Microsoft, and these all have a built-in kickstand too, just like the Miix 510 has. This kickstand is adjustable at 150 degrees through the iconic watchband hinge.
The Lenovo Miix 510 is a good tablet in itself, but it sure has its work cut out considering the competition.
