After months of piecing together the specs for the upcoming Huawei MediaPad T3 tablets, we now have all the official Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0 specs and images too, courtesy of Huawei itself.
The Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0 is Huawei’s newest entry level 8-inch Android tablet, running the latest OS Android 7.0 Nougat fundamentally, but with Huawei’s own skin or user interface EMUI 5.1 on top of that.
The 8-inch screen has a HD resolution of 1280 x 800, and it is powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, with the two models featuring 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of storage, or 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of storage. The Snapdragon 425 processor is compatible with 667 MHZ RAM, so this could be a sluggish tablet on certain tasks, but we will see once it is tested.
Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0 with model number KOB-W09 is the Wi-Fi version, while the model number KOB-L09 is the 4G LTE version.
The Wi-Fi version has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, while the 4G LTE version has just 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, along with LTE, UMTS, TD-SCDMA, and GSM cellular capacities.
But shared Huawei MediaPad T3 8.0 specs otherwise includes GPS, GLONASS, BDS, a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 4800 mAh battery.
Color options are grey back with black bezels, or gold back with white bezels, with a weight of 350 grams and a thickness of 7.95 mm. It is made of anodized aluminum, and features blue light filter and kids mode.
