Samsung Customer Support Centre teamed up with WeFix in the UK this week to launch a new doorstep repair service where Samsung tablet or phone owners can book a quick repair for their device and have UK’s only Samsung approved personnel repair their broken mobile devices in their service car outside their house or work.
The plan is to cover the whole of UK in 2018, with predetermined prices for things like a new screen, back glass, battery, or charger port, with the service included. Repairs can be booked at samsungrepair.com
Once a technician is booked, they can be tracked online to see where they are and when they are estimated to arrive. The repairs have a 1 year warranty, and the technicians are quality approved by Samsung while the Volkswagen Transporter vans are equipped with anti-static repair zones and equipment inside the back of the car, and the phones and tablets are placed in new bags once they are repaired, before they are handed back to the customer again.
