Asus ZenPad Tablets Launch In 2015

Asus is launching a new line of tablets with Android this year, and they will follow the branding of the Asus ZenFone smartphones, so that the tablets are called Asus ZenPad.

The information came out through Asus 4Q 2014 investor conference, which is where we have the image of the ZenPad from.

The specifications are not leaked in those documents, only the image is, so it’s too early to actually know yet, but it seems reasonable to use the ZenFone 2 as a basis for specualations, and if we do so, we should be looking at a Asus tablet that can blow all the competitors out of the water.

The ZenFone 2 have a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, a 1920 x 1080 resolution display (403 ppi), with a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera – and this is in a smartphone that is thin and very sexy.

So if Asus can give their smartphones this much love, imagine what they can do with the ZenPad.

Asus also have a new series of higher-end Windows 8.1 tablets coming up in 2015 with the spiritual name Chi added to them, the first of which is Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi that became available for order only yesterday.
