Google launched the 12.3-inch Google Pixelbook last week on October 4, a Chromebook notebook with 7th gen. Intel Core i5 and i7 processor options, with a form factor for this notebook being a revolving laptop, but not a 2-in-1 tablet.
The only 2-in-1 tablet from Google so far has been the 10.2-inch Google Pixel C 2-in-1 tablet, launched with Android 6.0 back in December 2015.
But now supply chain insiders that Digitimes have talked to says that Google have placed orders from the manufacturers for a Google Piexlbook tablet too, or a detachable 2-in-1 to be precise. So far the rumors seems to assume that the Google Pixelbook tablet will also feature a 12-inch screen.
In addition, the prospects of a cheaper Chromebook from Google have not yet received any solid confirmation of a go-ahead from Google, so the supply chain was still left in the dark about a cheaper Pixelbook.
