Cyber Monday Tablet Deals 2012: Asus, Samsung, Toshiba, Acer, Kindle, Nook

Cyber Monday 2012 is kicking off, and great discounts on tablets are starting to appear online. Most deals will be announced only a few hours before they become available, so this list of Cyber Monday tablet deals will grow and stay updated as we go through Cyber Monday – by Jim Miller.

Microsoft Store is having a Cyber Monday sale on Acer W510, cut from $499 to $399, by far the cheapest Windows 8 tablet you can get hold of this year. Microsoft Store also have Cyber Monday sale on VIZIO ultrabooks and Asus VivoBook notebook, as well as Xbox.

TigerDirect is having a sale on the Acer Iconia A200 with 16GB for only $229.99, down from $349.99.

Another Cyber Monday deal from TigerDirect is for the great Asus Transformer TF300, on sale for $279.99 today, down from $379.99.

The highly regarded Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T is also on sale today, with the price cut down from $499.99 to $449.99 on Amazon.

Amazon is following up with a $129 Kindle Fire deal, with the 7-inch Kindle Fire down from $159.

Toshiba Thrive 16GB was up for sale on Sunday already, with the price cut from $248 to $199.99, announced exactly at 3:39 PM PST. It sold out in 15 seconds, just like it did last year.

Later on Sunday, Amazon had a discount on the Le Pan I 9.7-Inch Android Tablet. It was cut from $179.99 to $119.99, and also sold out quickly. A newer model of this tablet, Le Pan II is up for sale on Cyber Monday at 1:39 PM PST. The price is down from $249.99 to $189.99. But at that price, the Acer Iconia A200 is a much better deal.

(Updated: A similar Cyber Monday tablet deal was held for the Coby Kyros 7 at 11:39 AM PST. It was lowered from $74.99 to $59.99, making it a dirt cheap budget tablet. It sold out in around 5 minutes.)

Barnes & Noble is offering a Cyber Monday tablet deal on NOOK, where customers get a free $20 B&N Gift Card if they buy NOOK ereader or tablet online.

Samsung is extending the sale on tablets they started last week, so that it will last to Saturday, December 1.
The bargains include Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7-inch) down from $249.99 to $179.99. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1-inch) down from $399.99 to $299.99, as well as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (16GB) cut from $499.99 to $449.99 and the 32GB model cut from $549.99, to $499.99.
If a model is sold out, it’s generally still possible to place your order at the discounted price, and wait just a few days for delivery.

For budget tablets, some tablets can be had on an even smaller budget for the extended Cyber Monday “Week”. The 7-inch Android tablet Coby Kyros is available for $83.99, off 44% from the regular $149.99, though this price will fluctuate as those discounted tablets are either in or out of stock on Amazon. Keep in mind that it only has a 800×480 resolution though.

Another budget tablet is a 7-inch, 1.6GHz, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Icooicon tablet for $96.49 from Focalprice. At least this tablet have a 1024×600 resolution.

Other computer related deals worth picking up is the wast amount of external hard drives and memory cards that are on sale throughout Cyber Monday. One announcement is a hard drive (HGST Touro Desk 4 TB) with a whopping 4TB that will be cut to $169.99.
