Microsoft and Wacom advertised the new Wacom Bamboo Ink pen yesterday, a customizable Wacom digitizer that’s compatible with Windows Ink and both some old and new Windows 10 tablets.
Compatible Window tablets are Asus Transformer Mini, Asus Transformer Pro T304UA, Asus Transformer 3, HP Elite x2 1012, HP Envy 8 Note, HP Pro x2, HP Spectre x2, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet, Lenovo Miix 510, Lenovo Miix 720, Microsoft Surface 3, Microsoft Surface Pro 3, Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Microsoft Surface Pro, Microsoft Surface Book, Toshiba Dynapad, and Vaio Z Canvas.
It has a button on top of the pen, and two other buttons just above here you would place your fingers when holding it. These two are customizable shortcut buttons, while the top button opens Windows Ink and all the digitizer apps that you place there.
One of the benefits of the Wacom Bamboo Ink Pen over the pens that comes with each of these tablets is the nib kit, with three different nibs, so users gets 4 different nibs all in all to choose from, which makes the pen even more versatile. The pen is a crossover of round and triangualr, and pretty light, at 9 grams.
