BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE in shops August 9, 2012

Research In Motion (RIM) today unveiled the new BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE tablet with built-in support for cellular networks, and will make the 4G LTE available in stores from Bell, Rogers TELUS, and Shopereaders in Canada, starting August 9, 2012.

RIM announced that: “Additional variants of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet supporting various high speed cellular networks are expected to be available in the coming months from carriers in the US, Europe, South Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.”

The 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook will come with the mid-range 32GB of storage at first.

A 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook has always had good specs, and for the last 9 months a very attractive price as well (under $159).
