The 8.9-inch Android 4.2 + Fire 3.0 Kindle Fire HD 8.9 was released in November 2012, and has a FHD display with 1920 x 1200 resolution. A 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB storage are some of the other specs. Battery life is 10 hours on average.

The first tablet to copy the dimensions of the iPad mini with a Android OS was this tablet. The display is 7.9-inches wide, so it’s generally classified as an 8-inch tablet. Released in June.

Acer Iconia W510
The Black Friday sale is for the 32GB model, which is a 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, powered by an Intel Atom Z2760 processor, with 2GB of DDR2 RAM. It has lots of specs and features, including a 2MP front camera and a 8MP rear camera, and software like Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013. It’s possible to buy a keyboard dock for this Acer too.

Lenovo Yoga 10 Tablet
The unusually designed Yoga tablet was released only a few weeks ago as a 10.1-inch Android 4.2 tablet with a quad-core processor. What’s particular about it is the cylindrical built-in kickstand and hold, that also house the battery which by far gives the Yoga the longest battery life of any tablet – at 18 hours!

Lenovo IdeaTab A1000
Lenovo’s 7-inch Android tablet was already very cheap, and one of the cheapest budget tablets around. But it has a small battery, with an average battery life of under 7 1/2 hours.

Google/Asus Nexus 7
