Asus took to COMPUTEX 2017 to unveil the new Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML). This is a 10.1-inch Android 7.0 tablet with optional detachable keybard, and the 3rd generation of the tablet model, which sees some changes for the 2017-2018 model year. It is the successor to the Asus ZenPad 10 (Z300M).
Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) now consists of a 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT8735W processor with a Mali-T720 GPU, and options of 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, or 3GB RAM/64GB storage. It also has 128GB microSD card support.
Wi-Fi cover is for 802.11 a/b/g/n bands, and Bluetooth 4.1, but for the first time the Asus ZenPad 10 now features a USB Type-C port.
Other specs are very much like before, with a 2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera, DTS HD Premium Sound stereo speakers with aptX support, and a 13 hour battery life from the 4680 mAh battery. But the design has changed ever so slightly, making it look fresh and modern with a “knit pattern” textile fabric looking back.
Sensors on Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) includes GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, g-sensor, e-compass, light sensor, hall sensor, and gyroscope.
The tablet is 8.95 mm thick and weighs 490 grams, with color options of royal blue, pearl white, and quartz grey. The new Asus ZenPad 10 will continue to support the Asus ZenPad 10 Mobile Dock keyboard, but now in additional new colors too.
The new Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) could be released pretty soon.
