Asus Transformer Pro T304UA In Store Ahead Of US Launch

Asus unveiled a new 12.6-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet at CES 2017 on January 5, called Asus Transformer Pro T304UA, and now we are just around the corner from the Asus Transformer Pro T304UA launch in North America, after it was placed on Amazon ahead of launch:

The Asus Transformer Pro (T304UA) is mostly a successor to the Asus Transformer 3 Pro (T303UA), but not entirely, as some things are purely different too.

Asus Transformer Pro (T304UA) is something of a “Surface Pro 5” if you will. It has options of 7th gen. Intel Core i3 (7100U), i5 (7200U), and i7 (7500U) Kaby Lake processor options, so that’s a good start. Model options are i3, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage / i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage / i5, 8GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a fourth option of i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB of storage. The RAM is LPDDR3 RAM at 1866 MHz, while the storage units are SATA3 M.2 SSD units.

The 12.6-inch anti-glare screen of the Transformer Pro has a display resolution of 2160 x 1440 and a very wide color gamut. And it has active digitizer support with the included 1024 pressure level sensitive Asus Pen.

The Asus Transformer Pro T304UA also has the Surface Pro design, from the Surface type of keyboards (included) with glass touchpad, to the built-in kickstand, or the strong aluminum-magnesium alloy material in the body. And a top-model tablet like this naturally has complete dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover and Bluetooth 4.1. But this powerful tablet also has a lot more inside than that.

Additional specs includes a small fingerprint reader on the top, Harman Kardon stereo speakers on the sides, a 2MP front camera and 8MP rear camera, a 39 Whrs battery, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a full-size USB 3.0 port, a full-size HDMI port, a DC jack, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, and a microSDcard slot.
