Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi was unveiled by Asus at Computex on June 2nd this year, but since then we’ve heard nothing new about it.
Now it turns out though that a certain “Asus T90 Chi” have been Wi-Fi certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, more specifically on October 8. Now we can’t guarantee that this is the actual Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, but it seems likely.
The Wi-Fi leak doesn’t specify more than dual band a/b/g/n Wi-Fi certification and that this tablet runs Windows 8.1.
When Asus unveiled this tablet back in June however, they did at least specify that the Transformer Book T300 Chi is a 7.3 mm thick, 12.5-inch 2-in-1 tablet, with a fanless (probably Intel M) processor, 2GB/4GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 RAM, with 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution IPS display, Windows 8.1/8.1 Pro., and LTE support. Those are the specs so far.
In the Asus Transformer Book T300 series there are from before the 13.3-inch Asus Transformer Book T300LA which I’m told have recently gone out of production, a Asus Transformer Book Flip TP300 laptop, and the upcoming 12.5-inch Asus Transformer Book T300FA, another Intel M tablet to be launched in November.
