Asus Transformer Book T200 Specs Leak

Specifications for the upcoming 11.6-inch tablet Asus Transformer Book T200 with detachable keyboard have been leaked the last couple of days.

(UPDATE 2: An upgraded Asus Transformer Book T200 with Intel Z3795 processor and 4GB RAM was released in the US on October 6.)

(UPDATED 1: For complete specifications, see newest article on Asus Transformer Book T200.)

And specs for the Asus Transformer Book T200TA includes an Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3775 1.46Ghz – 2.4GHz (Turbo mode) processor (no surprises there), 32GB storage of the entry version, 2GB of RAM, and an 11.6-inch screen.

Since this is a Windows 8.1 tablet, it ships with Office Home and Student 2013 bundled in for free.

The specs leak comes from the French computer retailer pc21.fr, who lists the Asus Transformer Book T200 as costing $349 from them. With a 11.6-inch display, it will drive up the cost a little over the 10.1-inch Asus Transformer Book T100, but with the rest of the specs being pretty similar, the price should otherwise end up pretty close to its 1.5-inch smaller sibling.

The Asus Transformer Book T200 was first heard of in February, but this is the first time anyone have claimed to know the actual hardware specs.

For those who won’t wait that long for a decent 11.6-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, the best option is the ASUS VivoTab TF810C which it’s possible to find for under $399 these days, or there’s the Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500 which even have an integrated digitizer in the back of the tablet.
