Archos Titanium line of cheap Android tablets unveiled

Archos, the French maker of cheap Android tablets have just unveiled a new line of four tablets called Titanium that is added under their Elements range of Android tablets.

By Tom Bowen – The four aluminium covered Archos Titanium tablets will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and be powered by a 1.6GHz Dual-Core A9 processor, a Quad-Core Mali 400 MP4 graphics processor, and 1GB of RAM. They will come with micro SD-port for memory card expansion, a 2MP front-camera, and a 5MP rear-camera. The Archos 97 Titanium HD will have a 2048×1536 display resolution.

In the US it became possible to order the Archos 97 Titanium HD on March 20 as you can see below, followed by the Archos 80 Titanium the day after. In the UK the Titanium line was released on February 22nd.

Archos 70 Titanium, 7-inch. Price: $119, 119€ £99.
Archos 80 Titanium, 8-inch. Price: $169, 169€, £149.
Archos 101 Titanium, 10.1-inch. Price: $199, 199€, £169.
