Forbes has an article this week, where Brooke Crothers quotes Rhoda Alexander who is director of tablets and PCs at IHS Markit, and she is quoted saying she expects Apple’s new sized iPad to come in at 10.5 inches, something that have been mentioned for a year. But what’s new is the display resolution, which she expects to be 2224 x 1668.
So that’s a first. Alexander expects the cheaper new version of the Apple iPad 9.7 that have been rumored for a while, to start from as little as $299.
Alexander also expects the new Apple iPad 10.5 to be unveiled in the original March-April time period, though it should be noted that only last week supply chain sources for Apple’s iPad, were reported as having expressed worries that any new iPad would not be unveiled or launched before May-June.
