Amazon.com is up for a busy period of unveiling new tech devices in the months to come. After inventory of current Kindle ereaders and the Kindle Fire tablet has been cleared out in August, the new line of Kindle’s will be on their way.
On September 6 we expect to see a presentation of the new 7-Inch “Kindle Fire 2”. The new Kindle Fire HD 7″ tablet will be presented at the same time as the new Kindle ereader with built-in front light.
After those Kindle’s have been introduced, it’s time for an additional 2 more Kindle tablets from Amazon.
Apparently, Amazon have chosen Foxconn (the maker of iPad) to produce a 8.9-Inch tablet, for long now codenamed “Coyote”, whos real name is Kindle Fire HD 8.9″.
It is then expected that Amazon will unveil an even larger tablet, a 10.1-Inch Kindle previously codenamed “Hollywood”.
Once all of these Kindle tablets have been presented, Amazon is eager to expand their product line with the launch of their first smartphones too.
Not to be expected until Q4 this year, nothing is known about Amazon’s smartphones yet, other than Amazon aiming at selling this as an advanced smartphone for a sweet price tag of around $199. Pre-orders should be buzzing with this entry price.
