Alcatel have announced the Alcatel 12 Plus at MWC 2017. This is an Intel Celeron powered 11.6-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet.
Alcatel is one of the companies that have also sticked to making some Windows phones now and then, and while the Alcatel 12 Plus is a 11.6-inch Windows tablet, this device too has LTE.
The keyboard attachment design is one we haven’t seen in a few years, so the keyboard is quite chunky at the end where it doubles as a tablet stand. It is one of the first tablets to be powered by an Intel Celeron processor, just like the Chuwi Hi13, only that this tablet is powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N3350 processor instead, and has a FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC storage + a 32GB microSD card embedded already.
It has full dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover and Blueooth 4.2, and for security it has a fingerprint reader.
There’s a 5MP camera on the front of the tablet, and on the sides there’s a USB Type-C port, a USB A port, a micro-HDMI port, a microSD card slot for cards up to 128GB, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The tablet weighs 596 grams and is 7.9 mm thick, while the keyboard weighs 365 grams.
