Acer Iconia One 7 Unveiled – Release In June

Acer officially unveiled the Acer Iconia One 7 tablet today, during their “A Touch More Connected” event in New York.

The Acer Iconia One 7 is a budget tablet with Android that will be launched in June for a price of $129.99 in the US, while the price in Europe will be €139.

(UPDATED: Acer Iconia One 7 (B1-730) is now listed on Amazon)

Acer Iconia One 7 Specifications
On the processor side, this tablet features a Intel Atom Z2560 processor, while the 7-inch screen features a LED-backlit 1280 x 800 IPS display in a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Acer Iconia One 7 can be immediately upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat, but it ships with Android 4.2 installed. Other than that it has a 7 hour battery life, front and rear cameras, dual speakers, and microSD card expansion. So not the world’s most powerful battery in a tablet then, but that’s what you get on a budget tablet.

This tablet is 8.9mm thick and will come in a choice of five different colors, depending on the market. These colors are black, white, red, pink, and blue.

A very similar tablet from Acer is the Acer Iconia B1-720, that was released in February.
And for those who don’t want to wait until June to get the Iconia One 7, the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 have even better specs, for just about the same price.
