Acer Aspire Switch 10 Rumored

A 10.1-inch addition to Acer’s Aspire line of Windows 8 tablets, detachables, and ultrabooks have been rumored this week, by the name of Acer Aspire Switch 10.

(UPDATE: The detachable Windows 8.1 tablet Acer Aspire Switch 10 was officially unveiled on April 29. It will release in May 2014 from $379.)

Nothing is official and nothing is known about this device yet other than two purported images and a name circulating the interweb.

Though we could be looking at a 10.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet with detachable keyboard. And given the difference between Acer’s Iconia and Aspire line, it would be reasonable to speculate towards a Full HD display as well, say a 1920 x 1080 resolution and an accompanying detachable keyboard dock for it.

It would be great if Acer could make this a great tablet instead of relying on the use of DJ Tiesto for marketing, as they did with the Acer Aspire P3, which have not sold very well since it was launched last year.

We’ll see in the months to come.
