Acer Announce Windows 10 Devices Aspire R 14 And Aspire Z3-700

Acer and Microsoft held a joint Acer Windows 10 global conference in Taipei today where the press go to see the unveiling of two new Windows 10 computers from Acer in particular, with the Acer Aspire R 14 and Acer Aspire Z3-700. But the press also got to see some other Windows 10 devices such as the Windows 10 phone Acer Liquid Jade Primo as well as becoming more acquainted with the upcoming next Windows 10 features, like Continuum.

This is a new 14-inch convertible notebook with Windows 10 that’s powered by a 6th gen. Intel Core processor, has up to 8GB DDR3L RAM, SSD storage, has MU-MIMO Wi-Fi, and a 360-degree dual torque hinge so the screen can be flipped around. It’s 18.5 mm thick and weighs as much as 1.9 kg. Acer says it’ll launch in North America in October from $699 and upwards.

Acer Aspire Z3-700
Aspire Z3-700 is a 17.3-inch Windows 10 AIO, powered by a choice of either Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium processors, with up to 8GB DDR3L RAM, SSD or HDD storage options, 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a 5 hour battery life. It will launch in Europe at the end of the year, but there’s no word about a potential US launch.

Acer Liquid Jade Primo
Also on display today was the Windows 10 Mobile OS phone from Acer, by the name Acer Liquid Jade Primo. This Windows 10 phone features the new Continuum feature in Windows 10 so you can connect it to a larger screen and make use of it as a regular Windows 10 computer.
