This is the N705UD-EH76 version of the Asus VivoBook Pro 17, as there are two other versions too, with the N705N and N705UQ. So the Asus VivoBook Pro 17 N705UD-EH76 has powerful and new components like the 1.8 GHz – 4.0 GHz 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU, with 16GB DDR4 RAM at 2400 MHz, and 256GB of SSD storage with an additional 1TB of HDD storage.

So that makes for a great start for an allround computer that will be powerful for years. The 17.3-inch IPS screen of this Windows 10 laptop, has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with 72% NYSC.

It lags behind tablets on the webcam front though, with just a VGA camera in terms of resolution, but that’s because people still tend to use their own separate webcam with laptops.

The other specs are decent for a laptop though, as Asus VivoBook Pro features a multi-format card reader, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, a RJ45 LAN jack, a HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a backlit keyboard, and it has stereo speakers from Harman Kardon. A fingerprint reader is optional, even on the N705UD model.
